The Victim Assistance Program

The Gallia County Victim Assistance Program is designed to provide information and support to victims of crime.
Victim advocates serve victims in both the criminal and juvenile divisions by giving victims a voice in the judicial process. Advocates aid and encourage crime victims as their case proceeds through the criminal justice system.

Victim Information & Notification Everyday (VINE)

If you are concerned with the status of an offender who has been remanded to prison, you may sign up for the VINE program. The VINE system is a free, 24-hour phone service that provides victims with information on an offender’s custody status. Victims may register to receive automatic notification of changes in the offender’s custody status via email or phone contact.
