Gallia County Prosecutor Jason Holdren and Gallia County Sheriff Matt Champlin are happy to announce their support of the River Valley and South Gallia High Schools after-prom initiatives. “Prom season is one of the most exciting and memorable times of a young adult’s life. Way too often, these nights end in tragedy with traumatic events, many of which are contributed to substance abuse. We are very happy to provide funding to our schools in an effort to establish after-prom programs to give our children a way to enjoy themselves after the prom activities have concluded. These activities are organized by our school staffs and provide a safe and fun environment, therefore preventing bad things from happening which would jeopardize our youth’s lives.”
