GALLIA COUNTY JURY CONVICTS CHAMPER ON TWO FELONY COUNTS

Prosecuting Attorney Jason D. Holdren announces that Timmy F. Champer, age 46, of Crown City, Ohio, was convicted by a Gallia County jury this evening. Following a one-day jury trial, guilty verdicts were returned for two counts of Trespass in a Habitation, felonies of the fourth degree. After deliberating for just over an hour, a Gallia County jury returned guilty verdicts on both counts at 8:30 p.m. Champer faces a maximum sentence of 18 months in prison for each count. The State will be seeking the maximum sentence.

A sentencing date has not been set at this time.
