JUNE 2025 GRAND JURY INDICTMENTS ANNOUNCED

Prosecuting Attorney Jason D. Holdren announces that the Gallia County Grand Jury met in June 2025 and returned indictments for the following individuals:

Darius Franklin, age 39, of Gallipolis, Ohio, one count of Felonious Assault, a felony of the second degree.

Nikoli L. Roberts, age 19, of Thurman, Ohio, one count of Felonious Assault, a felony of the second degree.

Raymond P. Higginbotham, age 35, of Gallipolis, Ohio, one count of Strangulation, a felony of the third degree; one count of Strangulation, a felony of the fourth degree; one count of Domestic Violence, a misdemeanor of first degree; and one count of Kidnapping, a felony of the second degree with specification.

Romeo D. Marbury, age 37, of Detroit, Michigan, one count of Possession of Marihuana, a felony of the third degree; one count of Trafficking in Marihuana, a felony of the third degree; one count of Possession of Marihuana, a felony of the fifth degree; and one count of Trafficking in Marihuana, a felony of the fourth degree.

Na’Zaire R. Ramsey, age 20, of Columbus, Ohio, one count of Improper Handling of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle, a felony of the fourth degree.

Makayla Curtis, age 35, of Vinton, Ohio, one count of Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, a felony of the fourth degree.

Michael D. Umbel, age 49, of Gallipolis, Ohio, one count of Failure to Provide Notice of Residence Address Change, a felony of the fourth degree.

Austin W. McQuaid, age 25, of Rio Grande, Ohio, one count of Theft, a felony of the fifth degree; one count of Breaking and Entering, a felony of the fifth degree; and one count of Receiving Stolen Property, a felony of the fifth degree.

Toriah B. Trent, age 29, of Gallipolis, Ohio, one count of Escape, a felony of the fifth degree; and one count of Assault, a felony of the fifth degree.

Allison E. Neville, age 31, of Crown City, Ohio, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the fifth degree.

Christopher W. Bowman, age 46, of Gallipolis, Ohio, one count of Theft of a Check, a felony of the fifth degree; one count of Forgery, a felony of the fifth degree; and one count of Theft, a felony of the fifth degree.

The cases against those indicted will proceed in the Gallia County Common Pleas Court.
