10 SENT TO PRISON

Gallia County Prosecuting Attorney, Jason D. Holdren, announces the sentencings of 10 individuals by Judge Margaret Evans in the Gallia County Common Pleas Court:

Charlene F. Campos, age 37, of Thurman, Ohio, was convicted of Felonious Assault, a felony of the second degree; and Having Weapons While Under a Disability, a felony of the third degree. Campos was sentenced to a minimum prison term of 4 years and a maximum prison term of 6 years. The Court noted at sentencing that Campos has a history of criminal convictions, having served 2 prior prison terms; and exhibits a pattern of drug abuse related to the offense and a refusal to engage in treatment. Upon her release, Campos will be placed on post release control under the supervision of the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for at least 18 months and up to 3 years.

Jose M. Myers, age 25, of Charleston, West Virginia, was convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl Related Compound and Trafficking in a Fentanyl Related Compound, both felonies of the second degree (17.7302 grams). Myers was sentenced to a mandatory minimum prison term of 7 years and a maximum prison term of 10.5 years. The Court noted at sentencing that Myers has a history of criminal convictions, having served a prior prison term. Upon his release, Myers will be placed on post release control under the supervision of the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for a mandatory term of at least 18 months and up to 3 years.

Darius L. Bridges, age 33, of Detroit, Michigan, was convicted of Trafficking in a Fentanyl Related Compound, a felony of the first degree (41.0195 grams). Bridges was sentenced to a mandatory minimum prison term of 6 years and a maximum prison term of 9 years. Upon his release, Bridges will be placed on post release control under the supervision of the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for a mandatory term of at least 2 years and up to 5 years.

John L. Patterson, Jr., age 24, of Gallipolis, Ohio, was convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the third degree; and Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the fifth degree. Patterson was sentenced to prison for 4 years.

Keith W. Pugh, age 44, of Gallipolis, Ohio, was convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the third degree; and Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Oxycodone), a felony of the third degree. Pugh was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison.

Richard C. Borton, age 44, of Gallipolis, Ohio, was convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter, a felony of the first degree. Borton was sentenced to a minimum prison term of 10 years and a maximum prison term of 15 years. Upon his release, Borton will be placed on post release control under the supervision of the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for a mandatory term of at least 2 years and up to 5 years.

Rick T. Ngo, age 27, of Key Largo, Florida, was convicted of Counterfeiting, a felony of the fourth degree and sentenced to 18 months in prison. The Court noted at sentencing that Ngo had warrants in other jurisdictions when he committed this offense; and has a history of criminal convictions, having served a prior prison term.

Christopher T. Dray, age 39, of Gallipolis, Ohio, was convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the fifth degree, and Possession of a Fentanyl Related Compound, a felony of the fifth degree. Dray was sentenced to 13 months in prison.

Alexandria J. Hawley, age 44, of Bidwell, Ohio, was convicted of Assault, a felony of the fourth degree. Hawley was sentenced to 16 months in prison.

Brandon J. Noble, age 30, of Dayton, Ohio, was sentenced to prison for 3 years for violating the terms of his community control by committing a new crime while on community control. Noble was originally convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Fentanyl), a felony of the third degree; and Failure to Appear, a felony of the fourth degree.
