Gallia County Prosecuting Attorney, Jason D. Holdren, announces the recent sentencings of eight individuals in the Gallia County Common Pleas Court. The following individuals were sentenced to prison terms by Judge Margaret Evans of the Gallia County Common Pleas Court:
Gregory A. Coger, age 33, of Columbus, Ohio, was recently sentenced to 3 years in prison for his convictions of Trafficking in Heroin and Possession of Heroin.
Rachel L. Angel, age 39, of Gallipolis, Ohio, was recently sentenced to 7 years in prison for her convictions of two counts of Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemicals to Manufacture Methamphetamine in the Vicinity of a School, being a daycare.
Levi Coughenour, age 25, of Gallipolis, Ohio, was recently sentenced to 4 years in prison for his conviction of Illegal Manufacture of Methamphetamine.
Joseph A. Hannah, age 35, of Vinton, Ohio, was recently sentenced to 30 months in prison for his conviction of Robbery.
Rontez Darget, age 35, of Port Huron, Michigan, was recently sentenced to 4 years in prison for his conviction of Aggravated Possession of Drugs.
Phillip Howell, age 39, of Vinton, Ohio, was recently sentenced to 12 months in prison for his conviction of Nonsupport of Dependents.
Holly Rose, age 27, of Vinton, Ohio, was recently sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating the terms of her community control. Rose was placed on community control following her conviction of Attempted Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemicals for Manufacturing of Drugs.
Harold Junior McCormick, age 58, of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, was recently sentenced to 10 months in prison for his convictions of Theft and Passing Bad Checks.
