Prosecuting Attorney Jason D. Holdren announces that the Gallia County Grand Jury met in January 2024 and returned indictments for the following individuals:
Josh Baley, age 22, of Crown City, Ohio, five counts of Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor Person, felonies of the second degree; two counts of Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor, felonies of the second degree; and fifteen counts of Illegal Use of a Minor Person in Nudity-Oriented Material or Performance, felonies of the fifth degree.
Christofer J. Shears, age 36, of Gallipolis, Ohio, one count of Abduction, a felony of the third degree with specification; three counts of Kidnapping, felonies of the second degree with specifications; and two counts of Endangering Children, misdemeanors of the first degree.
Jonathan C. Elkins, age 40, one count of Domestic Violence, a felony of the third degree.
Amanda M. Whitt, age 30, of Wellston, Ohio, one count of Telecommunications Fraud, a felony of the fourth degree.
Joshua P. Cremeans, age 42, of Gallipolis, Ohio, one count of Theft, a felony of the fifth degree.
Denver R. Adkins, age 46, of Oak Hill, Ohio, one count of Breaking and Entering, a felony of the fifth degree; one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the fifth degree; and one count of Possessing Criminal Tools, a felony of the fifth degree.
Cassandra A. Harrison, age 43, of Oak Hill, Ohio, one count of Breaking and Entering, a felony of the fifth degree; one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the fifth degree; and one count of Possessing Criminal Tools, a felony of the fifth degree.
Jacob Sarver, age 19, of Gallipolis, Ohio, two counts of Vandalism, felonies of the fifth degree.
Jeremiah D. Smith, age 35, of Vinton, Ohio, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the fifth degree.
The cases against those indicted will proceed in the Gallia County Common Pleas Court.
