FOUR FROM GALLIA COUNTY HEADED TO PRISON

Gallia County Prosecuting Attorney, Jason D. Holdren, announces the recent sentencings of four Gallia County residents by Judge Margaret Evans in the Gallia County Common Pleas Court.

Brittany D. Campbell, age 21, of Gallipolis, Ohio, was recently convicted of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor, a felony of the fourth degree, and Tampering with Evidence, a felony of the third degree. The Court sentenced Campbell to an 18-month prison term for the Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor conviction. Upon her release from prison, Campbell will be required to register as a Tier II Sex Offender for a period of 25 years. Additionally, the Court sentenced Campbell to community control for a term of 48 months for the Tampering with Evidence conviction, which will commence upon her release from prison. Campbell will be evaluated for participation in a CBCF program, halfway house, and drug court. Campbell was also ordered to have no contact with the victim in this matter.

Richard White, age 41, of Bidwell, Ohio, was recently sentenced to prison for 30 months. White was on community control for a previous conviction of Vehicular Assault when he was convicted of the additional felonies of Identity Fraud and Attempted Abduction.

Billy R. Wiles, age 29, of Crown City, Ohio, was recently sentenced to prison for 14 months for his convictions of Possession of Drugs and Failure to Appear.

Dustin E. Null, age 38, of Bidwell, Ohio, was recently sentenced to prison for 18 months for violating the terms of his community control. Null was originally placed on community control for 48 months after being convicted of Forgery. As a special condition of his community control, Null was ordered to successfully complete the STAR program, a community based corrections facility. Null did not complete the STAR program, but instead, was expelled for repeated infractions which included nine major rules violations.
