Prosecuting Attorney Jason D. Holdren announces that the Gallia County Grand Jury met in August 2023 and returned indictments for the following individuals:
Donald M. Carr, Age 33, of South Point, Ohio, one count of Burglary, a felony of the second degree; and two counts of Breaking and Entering, felonies of the fifth degree.
Jeremiah J. R. Leach, Age 22, of Chesapeake, Ohio, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the third degree; one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the second degree; and one count of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the second degree.
Taylor J. Martin, Age 27, of Crown City, Ohio, one count of Gross Sexual Imposition, a felony of the third degree.
Antonio M. Waller, Age 50, of Charlottesville, Virginia, one count of Failure to Comply with Order or Signal of Police Officer, a felony of the third degree.
Kaleb R. Gheen, Age 22, of Racine, Ohio, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the third degree; and one count of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the third degree.
Prudence Mayes, Age 42, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the third degree.
Kyle D. Slone, Age 32, of Greenup, Kentucky, one count of Failure to Appear, a felony of the fourth degree.
Stephanie A. Shirley, Age 44, of Middleport, Ohio, one count of Forgery, a felony of the fifth degree.
Billy J. Hall, Age 32, of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia, one count of Breaking and Entering, a felony of the fifth degree.
Joseph B. Jones, Age 41, of Gallipolis, Ohio, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the fifth degree.
Shannon York, Age 33, of Vinton, Ohio, two counts of Non-Support of Dependents, felonies of the fifth degree.
Travis V. Warren, Age 39, of Portsmouth, Ohio, three counts of Non-Support of Dependents, felonies of the fifth degree.
Douglas Morrison, Age 47, of Gallipolis, Ohio, three counts of Non-Support of Dependents, felonies of the fifth degree.
The cases against those indicted will proceed in the Gallia County Common Pleas Court.
